you should always be extremely careful with sweeteners if you're trying to cut sugar spotted in the wild: splenda packs - you don't see sugar in the ingredients list, yet there's dextrose, a simple sugar identical to glucose, it *is* sugar - added sucralose increases cancer risks now let's examine another thing: 0.5g nutrition facts (1/2 pack) says there is 0g of sugar; yet the truer facts for 1g (full pack) say there is 1g of sugar in it, how so? that's an accepted rounding error for the nutrition facts, in fact, for 1g of Splenda you always get 1g of sugar (dextrose), so if you tried to cut sugar? you can't with splenda they package the same sugar 1:1 but make it sweeter with sucralose (extra cancer) use allulose instead, it doesn't digest and doesn't metabolise, but is 80% as sweet as sugar and doesn't have any weird aftertaste like stevia always read nutrition facts and ingredients, you'll be surprised how much sugar is in "non-sugary" packaged food

another win with ai today, opus 4.8 couldn't handle it a few months back so i tried it with fable linux doesn't have native support for dolby atmos speakers on my thinkpad x1 carbon gen10, so i thought wait a second i have better ai now! and boom, my speakers sound AWESOME now (compared to untweaked settings ofc), it all just works, and apparently it just had to install some packages i had no idea about that already had all the presets future.

so this blew my mind yesterday: i got tired of windows randomly shutting down/rebooting/installing updates, and me having to press the power on button i then vaguely remembered "wake on lan" thingy in bios, decided why not, i'll turn it on for my ai so that the recovery worker for @voicybot speech recognition could turn on my pc it walked me through the settings in bios, told me to do some stuff on windows, the bios setting was already on, so i told ai to do the rest on windows itself (it can ssh into my windows gaming tower) and boom, it didn't only reserve an ip on my router for the pc, it also figured out all the windows settings, then it shut down the pc and woke it on lan to test! i'm no longer tied to physically press that stupid power on button; when @voicybot goes down, i have an ai agent checking if it's down or not, and then recover it without me ever knowing about it (it does send me a quick "hey it was down but i got it up again" just in case future yet?

ai has fixed my G3200 canon printer... i thought it was a lost cause, but it hacked into it, printed a bunch of generated test images, scanned them (i had to put the printed paper into the scanner but it scanned everything on its own), then diagnosed that black printer head failed (one slot out of a dozen) it found me a replacement part for $100, i said hey it's too expensive, so it found a $30 chinese oem on aliexpress i just installed the new printer head and now it works flawlessly! i can only imagine that with robotics all the fix-it computer shops are going to go extinct soon, ai is so much better at analyzing and troubleshooting that if only i had a robot moving paper and installing details it wouldn't need me to fix everything up crazy world we live in; oh and btw i no longer use any tools to print stuff manually... now i just tell ai to connect to a printer on the network and print it all for me, also flawless results every time!
