An email and a card should be enough. Everything else is our problem.That’s the bar we build against. If you need to understand the infrastructure to use it, we haven’t finished the job.

A design file leaves a designer, goes to Würth, then to a print shop, then to the customer who ordered the part. Four companies. Four separate systems. Four versions of what happened. Securing the file is the part everyone expects to be hard, and it is the part that is furthest along. Encrypting a design, splitting it, and releasing it only to an authorized machine is engineering we know how to do. What stops the industry is the record. Who was allowed to print, how many times, and what was actually produced. Everyone in the chain needs the same answer, and none of them can be the one who holds it. Give the record to the designer, and the print shop is trusting them. Give it to the distributor, and everyone else is. Put it in a shared database, and someone still administers it, which means someone can still change it. This is the problem we are working on with Würth, and it is why the record sits on a blockchain. Not the design. The account of what was licensed and what was printed, written once, visible to all four, owned by none of them. For the engineer who spent three years on that design, it means something simple. She can let it travel, and still know what it did.

Development Update · 14 September 2026 We keep building. Here is the short version of what moved since the last update. Insight Insight took a big step forward this cycle. Moving between the different parts of the product is now one continuous experience rather than a set of separate tools. The interface got a full pass and we simplified it drastically: far less clutter, a fresh look, and it moves beautifully. Würth Our work with Würth continues to progress well. The integration is coming together, and we keep broadening what we bring to the project. Security We completed a full security review this cycle. The improvements it produced are already in place. Dashboard The hotfixes we promised last time are live and the dashboard is running normally. Payouts were where most of you felt this, and they are working as they should. Nodes and Storage We are expanding our support tooling so node operators get answers quickly and safely. Alongside that, we continued strengthening the foundations the network runs on. Ask most providers where your data sits, and the answer arrives as a report. Written after the fact, describing what happened. On our network the question is answered earlier. You set the conditions first — which jurisdictions are allowed, who may reach the file, what happens on access. Only then is the data encrypted, split, and placed, and only onto nodes that match what you set. A node outside your conditions is not a violation to catch later. It never receives the file. That single word carries the whole difference. Before, not after. Compliance by design, not by process.
