⬇️ KryllOS update 0.5.44: you hunted, we fixed A release that adds nothing new, and that's exactly the point: you reported the bugs, and we spent the whole update fixing them. Menus close when they should, shortcuts work on Mac too, and nothing gets cut off or hidden anymore. Coinbase pairs and their history are complete again. Three indicators that were skewing your backtests now calculate correctly. ⬇️ KryllOS 0.5.41 update: a real terminal, right inside the app With this new version of KryllOS, a real terminal lands inside the app. Not a gimmicky console: your VPS's shell, opened with a single click. The interface is still everything you need to trade. The terminal is there for the folks who like to tinker, peek under the hood, and run their own stuff. ⬇️ KryllOS 0.5.38 update: detach your chart and results into companion apps With this new version of KryllOS, your chart and your backtest results can leave the editor. They become companion apps: real standalone windows you place wherever you want, on one screen or several! ⬇️ KryllOS 0.5.35 update: queue up endless backtests With this new version of KryllOS, you can finally fire off a whole series of backtests in one shot. 0.5.32 unlocked parallelism, multiple engines, each on its own core, but you still had to feed them by hand. 0.5.35 adds the Multi-Backtest app, and it doesn't just stack your runs, it distributes them. You build your list, you click once, and each backtest gets handed to the next available engine while the rest wait their turn. Results save automatically along the way, named and organized. ⬇️ KryllOS 0.5.32 update: parallel backtests With this new version of KryllOS, you can finally run multiple backtests at the same time! Until now, only one ran at a time, no matter how many cores your machine had. From now on, each backtest runs on its own core. It's all set up in Settings > Performance: you choose how many engines run in parallel, each on its own core, and KryllOS recommends a value suited to your machine. And this is just the beginning: these parallel backtests lay the groundwork for something even bigger that we have in store for you soon 👀 We love a good spoiler around here, we're talking about Multi-Backtest, of course 🧠 Your RAM under control More backtests means more memory. A new Memory panel shows usage in real time, engine by engine, with a "Clear RAM" button to free up memory whenever you want. The engine was already 2 to 10× faster than the old one, and now we're adding up to 4× on top of that. More room to chain your ideas without waiting around! How? A cache keeps your candles and indicators in memory from one test to the next: your technical analysis no longer gets recalculated every time and costs almost nothing. The engine also skips over the moments where nothing happens to jump quickly to the next useful events. And to share it with us, it all happens on Embark, your dedicated space. In just a few clicks, the form lets you report a bug, the simplest and fastest way to flag what's not working. And here's what's new: until now, this form was for bugs only. So many of you wanted to share your ideas too… and now you can! So don't hold back: at the slightest bug or the smallest idea, let us know. KryllOS Progress Update It's been a few weeks since early access opened, and we wanted to take a moment to check in with you: where we stand, what we've accomplished together, and what's coming next. ℹ️ Where we stand Since early access opened, KryllOS has come a long way. We've stabilized and refined the new editor and backtesting engine, making the app a lot more solid for everyday use. And now, there's no need to reinstall anything to stay up to date: KryllOS updates itself automatically. A pop-up at launch, one click, and everything's up to date, both your app and your server. 👍 And we didn't do this alone A big part of these improvements comes straight from you. Every bug reported and every friction point flagged in real-world use has helped us make KryllOS more solid.
