⚙️Trading Automation is a Thing since late 1980ies, and evenmoreso in current age AI Hype Cycle So what are your options to Automate Trading for yourself? Is it even possible? And how does it work? 💬Basic premise of automation is simple: you take API keys, slot them into a trading software like MetaTrader 5 (or a script of your own making), and trade from there. But there's more than meets the eye here. ⚡️Ranked by how much capital you have at disposal, here are levels to trading automation: 0) Alerts based on macro events: PMI, Unemployment Rate, CPI, Bond Yields, Fed Rates, streamed right to the phone hours before it happen 1) Prompting LLMs: asking Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to read the market, perform due dilligence, or look up market sentiment 2) Use LLMs to write custom Pine scripts for TradingView with triggers for placing orders 3) Using MCP to trade via Agent without touching API keys because who needs API keys anyways? 4) Finally admitting you can't Automate Trading properly without using API keys, first attempts at building custom bots and algos 5) LocalTrade Copytrading + Jex, because building trading algos is hard and market can't wait for that 6) Finally finding open-source code for a trading bot, just to launch it via Agent and find out it's either broken or flawed 7) Hiring quant developer who can build you an automated trading strategy from scratch so you don't have to 8) Staking, Restaking, Liquid Staking, AMMs and Liquidity Pools 9) HFT, High Frequency Trading, only around 0.02% of traders can properly pull it off 10) Price Arbitrage, one of the 3 finals forms of Trading Automation, and the safest among them Each one is a different flavour of Trading Automation you can try, levels 0 to 5 are doable by 80% of novice traders, 6 to 9 are for advanced teams and high networth individuals (people with spare trust funds). ⚙️ [ Try JexAI, your trusted trading companion ] 🔗 Twitter (X) | Telegram | Facebook | Medium | Website 🔗

There's 2 major roablocks between you and successfull career as a trader Everything else you'll encounter is just questions of skill, knowledge and practice The two major roablocks are FUD and FOMO: FUD is Fear, Uncertainity and Despair, and it refelcts exactly that: market panics, opens up Twitter feed, reads doomy posts, panic even more, and every price change, no matter how small, gets treated as the harbringer of doom; the result of FUD is that people act erratic, and ungrounded, which in turn causes snowball effect. FOMO is Fear of Missing Out, you know how there's always a friend in any group who is up to date with all trends seemigly at once? That's how fear of missing out works. In trading, FOMO just pushes you to do dumb deals because you are afraid to actually miss out this exact opportunity to earn money. To trade profitably, remember: Fear is the mind killer; markets can stay irrational longer, than you can stay solvent. But no matter how rational you try to stay, sometimes emotions just kick in and it's question of practice what to do with them. Both, FUD and FOMO, however, can be used in trading, yet it would be grounded in psychology mostly: – FUD can serve as buy signal; for when the investors and traders tend to sell over temporarily drawback. If the asset is strong, that streinght can be used for long positions. – FOMO can serve as a sell signal; bulls are notorious for being overhyped when growth actually confirms their narrative, so if you see multiple people hyping up single asset on the premise of "don't miss out this next gem" it's likey a sell signal for that particular asset. There's also a counterpart of FOMO – JOMO, known as "Joy of Missing Out", and it looks like this: you return back from your long week of work, and see a bump on your portfolio because assets you bought grew in price slightly; you didn't see how their price fluctuated during the day, and so, wasn't affected by it in the first place. Want to stay out of FOMO and FUD? Use Jex, your trusted trading companion. Or copytrading, and rely on experienced traders. 🔗 X | Telegram | Facebook | Medium | Website 🔗

Suppose you want your AI agent to trade for you, but how would you do that? 🔥 There's a tool type for that called MCP, or Model Context Protocol, people who built it call it "a USB-C port for AI applications". It's an open standard for using external tools like a crypto trading platform. ⚡️ Trading MCP works like this: your AI stops guessing from a chart image it was handed, and starts reading account, positions, quotes and order history directly. If you allow it, it even be able to place trades directly on your behalf. Why use it? Alternative is copy-pasting. With MCP you ask questions in plain language, and AI fetches the answer from the source instead of imagining it. How you can use it? Just trade by chatting. While Jex is already a capable fellow, MCP would let you reach your account the way you'd reach it yourself. Coming to LocalTrade. We'll tell you when. ⚙️ [ Try JexAI, your trusted trading companion ] 🔗 X | Telegram | Facebook | Medium | Website 🔗

⚙️ How to tell if the trade worth the risk? Sharpe Index. It's a simple number: the higher it is, the better. It answers one simple question: is money worth the risk? Let's talk examples. Suppose you have 2 Copytraders. One did slow and conservative trades over 3 months, and made you, say, $1000 in returns. The other spiked $2000, crashed $1500, then spiked $250, the crashed again for $750, and suddenly at the end made +$1000 in 3 months. Same outcome, both copytraders gave you $1000 at the end. But Sharpe says that the first trader who did slow and conservative trades was better at his job. Sharpe can go from 1 (bad, lots of risk for a small reward), to 3 (exceptional, low risk high reward, ultra rare). So next time you'd look up copytraders just watch their Sharpe ratio. ⚙️ [ Try JexAI, your trusted trading companion ] 🔗 X | Telegram | Facebook | Medium | Website 🔗

🔔 US Democrats voted against Crypto Clarity Act, $BTC nosedived past major support at 76k towards 74k $BTC is pushing past major support at 76k, so here is breakdown on how US Parliament influenced $BTC and caused short-term sellout. 🔈 On September 15, 2026, US Senate voted 49–50 on a motion to proceed Crypto Clarity Act. To pass it needed 60 votes. All Democrats and a few Republicans blocked it, and the bill is dead for now. What exactly happened and why? Democrats consider ethics rules to be fake, since they can be enforced only by DOJ, which is being controlled by USA President. And because Office of Government Ethics also ran by appointees from President, they can stop any lawsuit short. According to Democrats, Crypto Clarity Act can as well help crypto companies take money from local banks, and cause "economic crash". This event can postpone much anticipated $BTC bullrun until further clarity about Clarity Act is established. After voting results, market reacted instantly, and dropped from $76,900 to a low near $75,000 in just ten minutes as the "no" votes piled up. Pain spread across the whole crypto market: — $ETH fell over 5% to $2,400, $XRP dropped nearly 10%, $SOL lost 5%. — Crypto stocks took beating: Coinbase fell 9% to $174.42, Circle dropped 9.4% to $88.26, Galaxy Digital lost 8%, and miners like Riot and MARA fell 3–5%. — Over $769 million in crypto bets were wiped out in 24 hours; most of which, $568 million, were people betting prices would go up. The sell-off was orderly, not a panic. Traders had already expected the bill to fail, and prediction markets had cut the odds of the bill becoming law to just 17% by the morning of the vote, down from 34% the day before. Most of the bad news was already priced in. Keep an eye on volatility, it can hijack even the best strategies out there. ⚙️ [ Try JexAI, your trusted trading companion ] 🔗 X | Telegram | Facebook | Medium | Website 🔗

💳 x10 trading advice: Lost a trade? Take a breather Not all trades will be profitable, some happen at a loss. When loss happens our brains perceive it as a kind of damage, a pain. Most traders who do well in market has their flight-or-flight response calibrated to fight, and so, they go on for revengetrading spree. 💬 Revenge trading is a thing: you lose and want to take revenge on a market. It happens to the best of us. Those who can harness emotions properly manage to succeed at taking revenge on the market, but that is survivorship bias. There's interesting psychology behind taking revenge on the market. Mostly based on loss aversion, some people can't accept losing, feel ashamed of themselves and just don't want to lose. That's cool, most human thing to happen. Until it leads to more losses. 🔥 It takes 30 minutes for stress to reset so you can think clearly again after a losing trade. On average, if your first deal was negative, it's better to walk away from terminal and take a breather. Log your deal, conditions and emotions to review it later on. How to revert revenge trading? — Take a breather; step back from trading terminal, go outside, take a deep breath. — Go on a walk; Oxygen helps to negate cortisol, the main source of stress, and walking helps to negate adrenaline and nor-adrenaline which fill your body after a stressful event. — Accept a loss; if it happened to you, don't blame anyone, look for why exactly it happened. Blame will only blind you to the facts; — Plan accordingly with loss analysis; with cold head, analyze what you did wrong and account for mistakes in the future. — Do not diverge from risk-control; set SL, set TP, don't move them even if market is against you: unpredictable volatility spike after you "wait out" the price can wipe your positions out. If emotional load of daily trading for you is too much, it takes 1 minute to pick a copytrader and set up trading strategy for yourself thanks to JexAI. ⚙️ [ Try JexAI, your trusted trading companion ] 🔗 X | Telegram | Facebook | Medium | Website 🔗
