𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱. Figma’s 2026 AI impact index reached 62 out of 100—nearly double its 2024 level. It measures more than personal productivity: it also looks at collaboration, projects, company priorities, products and tools. That broader frame matters. Many teams still evaluate AI with one simple before-and-after story: “This task took eight hours. Now it takes three.” 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹? 𝗬𝗲𝘀. 𝗦𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁? 𝗡𝗼. A faster team can still produce more weak options, carry bad assumptions further and create extra review work for senior designers. Speed is only valuable when it improves the decision system around the work. I would measure AI in a design team across four layers: 𝟭. 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 How quickly can the team move from a question to something testable? 𝟮. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 How many assumptions were confirmed, rejected or refined before production? 𝟯. 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 Can the team explain why the selected direction is stronger using evidence—not only taste? 𝟰. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 Does AI free senior designers to give better direction and help less experienced designers learn faster? Time saved belongs on the dashboard. It just should not be the headline metric. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲.

New Range Rover logo This decision is due to the need to adapt the styling to formats where the traditional “Range Rover” lettering is too bulky.
