📣 The Nimiq v2.0.0 hard fork has activated The network is now running under the upgraded consensus rules, and the public v2.0.0 release is out. Node operators: update your client to keep following the upgraded chain. Nodes still on the previous version will fall out of consensus. How to update, from source or Docker: https://nimiq.dev/network-upgrades/upgrades/v2-0-0#phase-2-node-operators Release: https://github.com/nimiq/core-rs-albatross/releases/tag/v2.0.0 Validators who applied the patch in Phase 1 are already running the upgraded client and do not need to do anything. 🚀 Nimiq v2.0.0 hard fork update Validators representing 80% of stake are ready ✅ The hard fork is expected for the next election block, in ~2 hours (around 18:20 UTC). There's a chance activation lands on a later election block instead, and we'll keep you posted here as it develops. We strongly advise all remaining validators to take part in the process. Validators that continue running the previous blockchain version will no longer remain active after the hard fork. For all other node operators: please stand by. We’ll share the new client version and upgrade instructions as soon as the hard fork is active. Thanks for your support.

The fork activates once validators representing 80% of the stake have signaled, so there is no fixed activation time. Important Announcement 📢 CoinEx has announced they will be delisting NIM. Trading and deposits were disabled on 5 August. If you still hold NIM on CoinEx, make sure you withdraw it at your earliest convenience. Withdrawals stay open until 5 November 2026, 08:00 UTC.
