UPDATE: Hyperlane Assets - Community Action Requested A significant amount of USDC remains secured within Hyperlane. The Foundation has identified three reasonable options for these assets, subject to being able to regain control of them. The Foundation is now asking the community to vote on their preferred option. Hyperlane routes will not be restarted until the assets are secured. The sooner the community completes the Temperature Check, the sooner the Foundation can begin the process of securing and returning these assets. RADIX MAINNET - LIVENESS RESTORED Radix mainnet liveness has been successfully restored following implementation of the fix. A huge thank you to the node runner community and everyone who supported, tested, and coordinated throughout the recovery. The Foundation is coordinating with CEXs and market-making partners on the remaining recovery steps, with each CEX determining when and what functionality it re-enables. IMPORTANT NETWORK UPDATE Following the recent exploit, the Radix Foundation and RAC have halted the Radix network as a precautionary measure, temporarily making transactions and Radix Wallet activity unavailable. We recognize this is an unfortunate situation and appreciate the community’s patience. The Foundation has contacted security partners, bridges, exchanges and relevant authorities to assist. The root issue has been identified, and work is underway to implement, test and deploy the fixes as quickly and safely as possible. Dan spent more than a decade working to solve some of the hardest problems in decentralised technology. He was driven not by hype or recognition, but by the belief that better systems could and should be built. He brought that same honesty, curiosity, and determination to the community around him. He treated people with respect, listened to different perspectives, and inspired others to believe in what Radix could become. One year on, his work continues. The foundations Dan built remain at the heart of Radix, while the community he brought together is stepping forward to shape its future.
